An individual has been charged with two accounts of wilful neglect under section 20 of the Criminal and Justice Act 2015 which states: “It is an offence for an individual who has the care of another individual by virtue of being a care worker to ill-treat or wilfully neglect that individual.” The plea hearing is scheduled for October 8th.
As a family we have a lot of thoughts though these will need to wait until the end of the criminal proceedings.
